Spring Break 2011

I was off this past week for Spring Break.  Frank took off Wednesday-Friday to join us for some family time.  We had a blast taking Jillian on a couple of her firsts!  Most of all we had fun just spending time with this silly girl!

Houston Livestock Show

On Thursday we took Jillian to the Houston Livestock Show.  She was evidently warmed up to the idea of the petting zoo after our trip to the zoo the previous day because she loved chasing the animals!

We had a great time at the Livestock Show!  Jillian loved seeing all the animals.  We can't wait until next year!

Jillian's First Trip to the Zoo

We took Jillian on her first trip to the zoo this past Wednesday.  She loved seeing all the animals...especially the monkeys aka "ooo ooo!"

We had such a great day with her at the zoo!  We can't wait to bring her back soon!

Water balloons...the obsession begins

Jillian has always loved balloons, so Frank thought it would be fun to show 

her water balloons.  The kid is now obsessed!



Unfortunately she isn't far enough off the ground to throw a balloon and bust it, but we're working on it...at least once every night!  (I did mention she was obsessed, right?)

It's testing time again, which makes for a busy Mommy and neglected blog! I have several posts below...

We are also in the process of planning Jillian's 2nd birthday party. Stay tuned for more posts about that!

Fun with Mommy's camera!

I'm not sure if I mentioned it, or not, but Frank and Jillian got me a new camera for Christmas and I LOVE it! The other day we took Jillian to one of the neighborhood parks and let her feed the ducks and play on the playground. I was trying to get a picture that I could use on her birthday invitation. I didn't get one of those, but I did get some pretty cute ones!
